Publications
My publications reflect an interdisciplinary approach to maritime music, exploring its cultural, historical and political dimensions. Drawing on archival research, ethnographic methods and critical theory, my work engages with questions of transnational music-making and the global circulation of musical practices. The entries below include peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, public history writing and educational resources, spanning both academic and applied contexts. Together, they contribute to ongoing conversations around music’s role in shaping and reflecting histories of seafaring, colonialism and cultural transmission.
